"I am very excited that Ashleigh has chosen EOU to continue her academic and athletic career," Director of Athletics Rob Cashell said. "She has had a tremendous prep career and should provide an immediate impact to the program."

The daughter of Sandra and Luther Arizana, performed well at the club level as well. She was a member of the 16 and under Idaho Express team that was named Western Regional Softball Champions.

“I chose Eastern Oregon because of its strong academics and its softball team,” Arizana said.

Arizana played basketball, volleyball, and softball in high school. She would like to major in Pre-Dentistry at EOU and be a dental surgeon in the future.
