POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 92 Division II men's basketball players have been named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Eastern Oregon University men's basketball player Dan Stafford was one of the 92. The Mountaineer senior excelled on and off of the court this season.

Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.

The International Business major averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds a game this year for EOU. The Mountaineers ended their season in the National Tournament for the third consecutive season.
