LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Eastern Oregon University men's basketball team will celebrate a fantastic 2009-10 season with its annual year-end banquet.

The Mountaineers welcome fans to join them April 17, in the Hoke Union Building in room 309. The banquet will begin at 7 p.m. and will cost $5 payable at the door. Desert will be provided by the EOU Athletic Department.

EOU Sports Information Director, Barrett Henderson, will emcee the event. Henderson will present team awards for the achievements made this past season.

The Mountaineers advanced to the national Sweet 16 for the third consecutive season, won 20 games for the fourth consecutive season, and finished in second place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference standings. They went from receiving 11 votes in the national preseason poll to a final national ranking of 13.
