RENO, Nev. – All-American wide receiver Jace Billingsley put his best foot forward in front of representatives from eight NFL teams on Tuesday at Nevada's annual pro day.
Billingsley posted a leading mark of 4.39 in the 40-yard dash and completed 25 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. In addition to Billingsley, the pro day contained seven prospects from the University of Nevada.
"I am so very excited about Jace and his future," said EOU head football coach Tim Camp. "The impact that Jace has had on the Mountaineer football program during his four years at EOU cannot be overstated."
Out of Winnemucca, Nev., Billingsley finished fourth in the country with 1,931 all-purpose yards during the 2015 campaign. In 11 games, he amassed 863 rushing yards on 176 carries, 506 receiving yards on 57 catches, and a team-high 78 points. He tallied seven rushing touchdowns and five receiving touchdowns, as well as one passing touchdown against Montana Western.
"His unrelenting determination and commitment to being the best at whatever he does has allowed us all to witness one of the most prolific careers in the history of Eastern Oregon University athletics," said Camp. "His pro day numbers at the University of Nevada hopefully will open a few doors for him and a professional career."
