“Rebecca was a great addition for us. She is so consistent in her serve/receive, defense, and her offense. I look forward to what the season will bring for her. She was a huge addition to our offense.”
On Eastern’s turnaround from 0-6 to 6-6 …
“Obviously California is where we started 0-6. It was a learning experience. I think the girls learned a lot. I don’t think the girls were quite ready for the change. It was a difficult transition after the tragedy that we endured. I think we learned from it, grew from it, and came together as a team from it. Our girls are ready, and I think that’s obvious with the way we’ve been playing.”
