“The girls played great tonight, but it was definitely not at the level we played last night. I think that was just because there was a lot of excitement, a lot of momentum and a lot of energy was used. It was so tough coming off all of that excitement. But I think the girls still played their game and still played Mountaineer volleyball.”
On some weakness EOU showed …
“We got blocked a few more times than we did last night. We didn’t cover as well as we did last night. We were not as scrappy as we should have been which hurt us in a couple long rallies. Other than that I can’t complain. The girls played great and that’s all I can ask for.”
On Oregon Tech …
“OIT has a great program. They have improved immensely over the last couple of years that I last saw them. It was a tough match for us. It wasn’t like we were playing our worse. We had to play our best to beat them.”
On what to work on this week …
“Going on the road to Concordia is going to be a tough one for us. We’re going to have to work on certain things before we go and play them definitely. That’s going to be a tough one for us, especially in their home gym. But bottom line is we still have to play our game and do what we need to do.”

“I’d like to see us work on our serve/receive. I think we need to work on our hitting and finding the holes when we hit.”

“It feels great. I was part of something like this in high school, but as far as in college this is totally a different level.”

“Everyone is just way calm. Everyone is kind of just expecting this. I wouldn’t say its cockiness, but there is a feeling that we can do this before every match.”
On the turnaround of the season …
“I think that it was just knowing that the California tournament was just really hard. We expected more of ourselves and when we got to league play things just got going for us.”
